The out of school care at Wellington College prep is called The Hideout. This comprises of both Late Stay, our after-school care, and Holiday Hideout which runs during the majority of the school holidays.
Late Stay
Late Stay provision cares for children from Nursery up to Year 4 from the end of their school day until 6pm. After a busy day, the children enjoy time relaxing with the staff and their peers whilst engaging in fun activities. Members of the Junior School team run the Late Stay facility which provides consistency in the care provided.
Late Stay charges for the academic year 2022-23 are:
Late Stay Registration Fee per term: £10.00
Late Stay rate if registered per hour: £9.00
Late Stay fee for Years 3 and 4 per hour: £2.20
Holiday Hideout
The Holiday Hideout offers a fun program of activities exclusively for Wellington College Prep children. The children are actively involved in a variety of art and craft, sports, swimming and cooking workshops based around a weekly theme, combined with plenty of outdoor adventure, games and activities. Specialist workshops and trips are often available alongside the regular activities throughout the holidays.
Holiday Hideout runs from 08:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday for about 15 of the 18 weeks of holidays in a year. The charges for this academic year 2022-23 are:
- £45.00 per day.
- £200.00 if booked for a full week.
There is a 10% sibling discount in Holiday Hideout if both siblings are booked in.
